The Society has many records of historical and illustrious milestones in its 100 years, long saga. We are celebrating the Society's 'Centenary Year' in 2016 on 13 November the achievements of which are to be written in Golden Letters. Now, the Society's horizon has widened with expansion of institutions at international level too. At present more than 250 institutions and 16,000 dedicated faculty under our Banyan like prestigious Society cater to the needs of approximately 1.25 lakh students. The Society has acquired an international, multifaceted organizational status by imparting quality and value based education with various courses covering Pre-schooling, Primary and Secondary Education, Arts, Commerce, Basic and Social Sciences, Philosophy, Agricultural Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering and Technology, Tourism, Hotel Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical and Dental Sciences, Indian Systems of Medicine, Health Care, Teacher Training and many others. Apart from many national, inter nation level institutions of great repute, the Society has alliances with prestigious international research institutions of UK, USA, Malaysia, China and Zimbabwe. Another feather, along with many in the cap of the Society, is that the medical and health science institutions of the Society have been brought under the domain of KLE University which is also accredited at 'A' level by NAAC with CGPA of 3.34/4 and recognized as centre of excellence by Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. It is another milestone in the path of KLE Society's forwarded march and we are proud to say that the Society launched the KLE Technological University during the academic year 2015-16 on the campus of the legendary Engineering and Technology Education, BVB College, Hubballi. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College at Belagavi which is a Jewel in the crown of KLE Society celebrated its Golden Jubilee in the year 2013. Honourable Prime Minister ShriNarendraModiji was the Chief Guest on concluding ceremony of Golden Jubilee celebrations of the college. The efforts of KLE Society in quenching the thirst of education of the learners was appreciated by former Prime Ministers Late Shri Rajeev Gandhi, Late Shri P. V. Narasimharao and former presidents of India Late ShriGyani Jail Singh and Late Shri APJ Abdul Kalam Sir during their visits to our KLE Society on different occasions. The dynamic leadership and farsightedness of our visionary Chairman of the Society, Dr.PrabhakarKore, MP deserves the due acknowledgement for all the quantum leaps and spectacular growth the Society has achieved during his tenure. Our Society has undergone far reaching transformation since 1984 when the great visionary and dynamic leader, the present Chairman took over the mentorship

. His yeoman's service has been recognized and honoured by many. During his tenure as Chairman, the number of institutions increased from 34 to 250 plus in all the streams of education. The stupendous growth under his leadership is ably complimented by the democratically elected dynamic Board of Management. Under his proficient leadership, institutions of higher education spread across the country have undergone the accreditation process by NAAC. Among the aided Higher Education Institutions of our Society, 09 have been accredited at 'A' level with notable CGPA. This speaks volumes about the quality of education imparted by the institutions of the Society to the rural and urban student stakeholders. This is the commitment and high standards set by our Society for imparting basic and specialized education. Most of these institutions are under the process of 3rd cycle of accreditation during the current academic year 2015-16.
